Boca Raton is ever evolving…from architect Addison Mizner’s vision as a resort destination in 1925 to a growing and thriving coastal city 100 years later.

As Boca celebrates its golden anniversary, it’s a city that doesn’t stand still. It never did. Attracting a younger demographic in 2025, plans revolve around the future. Boca wants to encourage a new generation to raise their own families here, while providing residents of all ages with access to excellence, from jobs and volunteerism, to pristine beaches and health care.

From the original town hall, now Boca Raton Historical Society, to The Addison, the original Mizner building to a special events venue, Boca Raton is proud of its reinventing history.

  • IBM’s massive complex with a research facility and manufacturing plant peaked with 10,000 employees in 1985. In ’81, it was home of the first personal computer. IBM Boca Raton

The former iconic complex has been rebranded as Boca Raton Innovation Campus known as BRiC, commercial office space with amenities and a venue for community events.
