Palm Beach County has its share of water parks. Here’s where to take the family during spring hours now until longer summer hours start.

Coconut Cove Waterpark

  • Coconut Cove, the public water park in Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park in suburban west Boca, opens for the season April 5 for weekends only until summer hours start June 1: Visit: Coconut Cove Waterpark
  • Attractions feature a 986-foot river ride, two 4-story water slides, a lily pad walk and water playground. There are also swimming lessons, private rentals, birthday parties, restrooms and showers. The concession stand sells snacks. Parking is free. Admission costs offer discounts for seniors and the military and 2025 season passes.

Rapids Waterpark

  •  Rapids Waterpark in nearby Riviera Beach has opened with spring hours and seasonal passes with paid parking on sale. This commercial attraction has over 40 slides; thrill, family and kids rides and a new water coaster. Amenities include cabanas for rent, and food and snacks from a bar and grill to a tiki bar and café. Special events range from foam parties in April and May; “dive-in movies” Fridays in July; to evening hours for adults only in June, July and August. Visit: Rapids Waterpark

Calypso Bay Waterpark
