The hours to go grocery shopping or hit the local mall here vary, and they may be different once you move to Boca Raton, Delray Beach or other Palm Beach County cities and towns. So, you can still plan your day accordingly.
Other than gas stations and other convenience stores like 7-Eleven and WaWa open 24/7, supermarkets deliver through your local store or delivery chains when they’re open. Or you can call ahead and pick up quickly, even at Starbucks and fast-food chains. Supermarkets and most retail chains have clearly marked pickup spots in their parking lots.
Hours vary for major supermarket chains. Most Publix stores are open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, but their pharmacy hours are shorter, especially on Sundays. Specialty food store hours vary, too, but not by much. For instance, Sprouts Farmers Market matches Publix, but Fresh Market closes at 9 p.m. Discount chains like Target hours vary, too. The Target in the west Boca suburbs is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., but Delray stores stay open to 11 p.m. Walmart’s have the longest hours. The west Boca store and two in Delray are open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Pharmacy hours there are shorter.
Most major retailers still encourage customers to shop online and pick up at the store. But you’ll find that’s not always the case in Boca. You can do both. Town Center at Boca Raton is a thriving indoor mall. Parking in open lots or garages.
Anchors are Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and Macy’s. There’s Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Cartier among all 200 stores. Mall hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Some shops and especially restaurants have shorter or longer hours. For instance, Neiman’s closes at 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday; open to 8 on Saturday; closes at 6 on Sunday. Macy’s is open til 9 every day except 8 p.m. on Sunday.
