If you follow pro golf, you’re in luck if you’re house-hunting here or already moving to Boca Raton or nearby by the end of March. Pro golfers are returning to Boca from March 31 to April 6 in a tournament with a new name and 26 football legends joining 78 PGA Tour Championship players competing for a $2.2 million purse.
The inaugural James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational will take place at The Old Course at Broken Sound. As usual, tournament play will be televised on the Golf Channel.

Every year, the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational proceeds benefit the tournament’s cornerstone charities: Habitat for Humanity, First Tee Foundation and Boca Raton Regional Hospital. The previous PGA pro golf tournaments in Boca have raised more than $3 million dollars for Boca Raton Regional Hospital alone.
