South Florida has evolved as more families follow corporate jobs here. But “snowbirds,” what locals call seasonal residents, are still migrating too, and you’ll see more out-of-state license plates this time of year.
It’s called “season,” now through at least mid-April. And the upside is more things to do for kids to adults from free activities to ticketed events.
All the cities, towns and villages in Palm Beach County offer freebies at their public beaches, parks, amphitheaters, nature centers and libraries. And tickets are on sale for sports, talks by authorities, regional theaters, comedy, concerts and live music venues.
If you’re moving or looking into buying in a gated community, your Lang Realty agent will let you know the clubhouse will be busy with planned activities.
