Boca Raton is an official U.S. host city, and a local university served as a training camp site for the Curaçao Men’s National Team, known as the Blue Wave. The city welcomes players, coaches, staff, and supporters throughout the tournament, culminating with the final on July 19.
Florida Atlantic University’s sports facilities on the Boca Raton campus were selected by Curaçao as the team’s training base during the group stage. FAU and the Curaçao National Team even hosted a free community event at the university’s football stadium, which quickly sold out.
If you missed that event, don’t worry. The City of Boca Raton is hosting a free FIFA World Cup 2026 Watch Party on Saturday, July 11, at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. This open-air venue accommodates approximately 3,000 people and offers a bring-your-own-seating experience. Doors open at 4:00 p.m., and the match begins at 5:00 p.m.
Free parking is available in Mizner Park’s four parking garages, while metered street parking and two valet parking locations are also available. Arriving early is highly recommended.
The regionally popular Town Center at Boca Raton will also host a Global Match Viewing Lounge from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on July 7. Fans can expect a soccer-inspired atmosphere featuring big-screen match viewing, photo opportunities, comfortable lounge seating, and a turf-style fan zone located in the food court.
