When you move here you live at the beach, and this is the time of year locals renew their annual Boca Raton beach permit to the four pristine gated beach parks. They’re $85 and good from Sept. 30 through next Oct. 1, 2026.
The permit allows entry, parking and use of the facilities like restrooms and pavilions on the two-mile stretch of the city’s lifeguarded beaches from opening to closing.
And the good news is you don’t even have to live in city limits to buy a Boca beach permit. Greater Boca Raton Beach & Park District residents are also entitled to buy them. Here’s how to prove residency when you get here: Provide a current valid Florida ID that shows a resident address. If your photo ID is from another state, or your Florida ID does not match your current address, please bring a current photo ID and one of the following original documents in your name which proves your resident address: City of Boca Raton water bill; Florida Power and Light (FPL) bill; long-term rental or lease agreement; notarized letter from condo association; 2024 or 2025 property tax bill; 2024 or 2025 Florida voter registration card.
