After graduating from the University of Bridgeport with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Sam began a career on a foundation of sales and customer excellence. His early years were spent learning sales fundamentals with Sealy Mattress company, where he was quickly esteemed as one of the most successful sales representatives in the region.
Aspiring for continued career growth (and warmer weather), Sam moved to South Florida with Serta Mattress Company, where he was Territory Sales Manager who increased revenue by over 500% in two years. From there, Sam had the opportunity to oversee national sales for Sherwood Furniture, leading key accounts as IKEA, Montgomery Ward and City Furniture.
The entrepreneurial desire grew strong and Sam opened Klein’s Bedding and Furniture in Delray Beach, Florida, where he built strong customer relationships and a business from the ground up. After many years of success, Sam was presented with a unique opportunity to lead Englander mattress’ retail division in Atlanta, Georgia. However, he truly missed the customer connection and entrepreneurial spirit, and began operation of two big box retail furniture stores in Atlanta, Leather World/Bedroom World.
His successful career in sales, training, customer relationships and business ownership give Sam unique insight into establishing buyer needs and closing the deal at a great value. His ability to understand complex needs and align the attributes of Aberdeen to buyer needs has elevated him as one of the most knowledgeable and respected real estate agent in our community.
